Transitions are one of the most important part of videos like this. This is one of the first things your viewers would notice on your video. Just the icons between your clips to add transitions. You can use different transitions on different clips you have. You can also able to add a single transition style to your clips with one tap. In this music video we use different yet simple transitions to make the video look dynamic.

To add the zoom effect on, you have to pick where you would want to start your zoom. Then pick where would you want you zoom to end. You can decide how much zoom in or zoom out you want to add on your clips.

Filters can greatly affect the quality of your videos. It can change the colors, shading, and lighting of your video. There are preset filters that you can add on your clips. You also adjust the filters manually to fit your style. In the music video we used a bright filter to convey positive and love energy to the viewers. And that is the final step to finish our music video.

Adding Details and Effect on Your Video

  Adding Text, Animation, Sticker, and Effects

Adding text is pretty simple. Just go to the text section to type any text you want and it would pop up on your screen. You can adjust the size of your text, change the font, and reposition the text on your video. You can also add animation on your text for aesthetics. You can decide when the text will pop up on your video and where will it fade out from your screen. We used this text tool to add the title of our music video.

You can add different stickers on your video. CapCut have a lot of free stickers that you can use on your video. There are also animated stickers available to use.

Now lets move on effects. We use effects to make the video interesting and to also add colors. There are vast available effects on CapCut to choose from. Make   sure to always use the effects that would suit the content of your video. You can also adjust the aspects of your effects so it wouldn't be distracting  for the viewers. On our scenario we used the colorful glittering effects and lower its opacity so wouldn't affect the main subject of the video.

How to Start Using CapCut?

 Selecting Clips From Your Gallery and Adding Music

Editing videos always start with selecting clips from your gallery. Precisely select your clips that you want to edit from your gallery to import them to CapCut. We are trying to make a music video so we have a couple of clips to select and import. Once you imported the clips you can delete the unnecessary part of your clips to make it look clean.

    Next you want to go to the ratio section to pick the format of your video. You should base the formal on how the videos were filmed. You should also consider where you will be uploading your video so you would have a precise composition for the viewers to view. Each media applications have specific format for their video. Hence why it is very important to carefully choose the ratio of your video.

Since we shot our clips in landscape, we would choose a landscape format.

Since we are trying to make a music video, we need to go to the music section to import our download song. When picking a song, always pick the that fits for the content of your video because it is very impactful for your video. In CapCut you can edit the music that you imported. you can change the volume or add fade to suit your style.
